Texas Hill Country Flood Response
SWRF deployed during the July 2025 floods and later worked with Ingram Fire Department on cooling and cleaning supplies for volunteers and neighbors recovering from flooding.
July 2025 flood deployment
In a July 2026 remembrance of the Texas Hill Country floods, SWRF said its field operations director traveled from North Carolina within 24 hours of the July 4, 2025 response. The public remembrance establishes the deployment but does not describe a complete list of tasks or an impact total for that trip.

During later flooding and extreme heat, SWRF described working directly with Ingram Fire Department on supplies for responders, volunteers, and neighbors still recovering. The fire department publicly acknowledged SWRF among organizations offering resources and support.
Cooling and cleanup needs
The later appeal requested coolers, fans, electrolyte packets, cleaning gloves, disinfecting wipes, dehumidifiers, and other practical recovery items. The Kerr County wishlist is available for donors to check current needs. This 2026 effort is distinct from the 2025 deployment.
