After the October 2025 hurricane
In a February 12, 2026 organizational letter, SWRF described assistance to Jamaican government and emergency-management partners with coordination of evacuations of U.S. citizens from Jamaica to the United States. The letter identified the response as ongoing at the time it was written.
Continuing coordination
The same letter described coordination for search and rescue or recovery, medical aid, food, water, and other life-sustaining and rebuilding supplies reaching isolated areas. The page describes the role SWRF stated in that dated letter.
What remains to document
A separate public call for pilots and air support was a request for resources. The available materials do not establish flight, evacuation, delivery, or beneficiary counts. More specific outcomes can be added when the organization has approved records for them.
